Trip Cancellation Insurance

For your protection, we recommend that you obtain Trip Cancellation Insurance. A short-term travel insurance policy can cover non-refundable trip costs due to personal or family illness or accident.

Trip cancellation insurance must be purchased at the time your reservation is confirmed. Cancellation insurance generally covers:

4) delay of scheduled carrier due to weather conditions
5) missed flight departure due to accident or highway closure
6) lost luggage

Insurance cost is generally 5-7% of the trip price total. Insurance can be purchased from your local insurance or travel agent.

Due to the nature of operating in coastal wilderness areas, Pacific Northwest Expeditions reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure, for any reason. A minimum of 30 days notice prior to the trip departure date would be given. In such an event a full trip refund will be issued, or at your choice re-scheduling to another trip date. Pacific Northwest Expeditions is not responsible for any expenses incurred by trip guests in preparation for the trip.
